Hey guys,

basically, would it be worth me taking this as a swap for my car and selling this? I'd return the wheels to standard and flog them anyway, and then just get rid of it.

The guy has offered me it as a straight swap, and i'm thinking that atm a VW diesel is gonna be easier to shift than a Ford V6?

tbh a heavily modified VW diesel is going to be just as hard to shift due to its niche market.

People concerned about the good fuel economy of diesels arent in the habit of buying barry boy special passats

your V6 escapes the new tax rules, so id hold out.
 
Avoid. You'd have to de-chav it and there's no way its worth anything like 3k.

I think you'll find a buyer for yours at 2k with a bit of time.

i do hope you mean in good condition rather than NICE though :p the interior is bloody awful, just in good nick for what it is
 
oh mate PH is slow when selling a car, i once underpriced a focus by £1000 just to shift it and still took nearly a week before i had interest
 
Definitely a waste of time. I've always thought swaps are a bit dodgy - normally you sell a car to trade up or down. Swapping for a car of similar market value suggest that maybe there's something wrong with theirs...

Obviously I'm excluding enthusiast/exotica here. Swapping an Evo for an Impreza for instance.
