Nvidia GTX 280 - IN STOCK NOW!!!

Leadtek GTX 280 @ 602MHz Core, 2214MHz Mem - £469.99

EVGA GTX 280 SSC Edition @ 648MHz Core, 2322Mhz Mem - £563.99

Who in the **** would spend an extra £100 just for an extra 46mhz overclock on the core and 108mhz extra overclock on the memory.

Crazyness to say the least.

If OcUK get one pre-order for the EVGA SSC or SC editions then who ever has done it will get a right good clack round the head.

the x1900xtx are around the 370 mark at ocuk

the 7900gtx can be had for around 370 here at ocuk

I'm sorrry but the x1900xtx was a good buy when the prices were slashed and they were on this week only.

But i think some people have forgotten now that they cost the same to a 7900GTX

at LEAST £370 for the 7900gtx. trusted reviews reviewed a 6800u and at the time it was £355 inc.

In my opinion prices of these new graphic cards just giving gamers more reasons to buy consoles, especially when you can pick up xbox360 for £149 and you know that will last at least another 2 to 3 years,i am sure even if you buy these graphic cards wait another 6 months and these cards will struggle to run games on their optimal settings.

When trying to capture 'fast' subject, aren't you sposed to leave some room in the frame for it to 'travel into'. I think the composition is way off here... better luck next time.

and a slower shutter speed to get a bit of fan blur would have helped......

Agreed.

I barely use my PC for gaming since I got my 360. Apart from CS:S, and that doesn't need anything amazing graphics card wise.

Had a go of Grid last night on my 360. Just booted it up and it runs flawlessly whilst looking amazing, without having to do any tweaking.

When you can get that from a £150 console, a £450 graphics card (which you'll no doubt have problems with, and will be out of date within 6 months) is ridiculous.
