Nvidia GTX 280 - IN STOCK NOW!!!

Actually a decent card (8800GT) can be had for about £100. It'll play all the latest games on High/Very High graphics. The top-end cards (£300+) are really just for hardcore/enthusiast/addict people to big up their e-penis.

I also prefer gaming with a pad now for literally everything apart from RTS. Even FPS! Yes FPS!

Cant get a chance at 1920x1200 16AA 60FPS gaming with a console though. ;)

now then guys, don't be so quick to judge..

if it's 4x the price of a G92, then it's going to be four times as fast, right?

About the same price as the 8800GTX when they were first launched so no surprises at the cost at all tbh :)

Im not suprised at it costing so much, it can be expected from Nvidia, nowa days. They seem to think that all their high end cards have to be £350+ going to up nearly £600!?!?!

Its the way they have introduced it into the market and where in the market that gets me the most.

Is it me or has this been spammed across every board. :p

Still not sure on these yet, 8800gtx sli will give it a 280 a good run for its worth but I really want to head back to intel chipsets....

Damm. Guess I'll wait a month or two and get the 4870x2's.

do i go sli and live with the huge increase in heat and power consumption, or do i sell up and go with a 260? choices eh? this is assuming ati drop the ball of course.

nothings set in stone yet.
