He won't go to RM, guaranteed, because Valencia just don't sell to Real anymore. So Barca it is then.

Is that a guaranteed like "Shevchenko won't leave Milan" standard of guarantee or is it the full 36 month return to base sort of affair?

//edit and I saw about the Hearts manager yesterday, another coach few people have ever heard of, excellent. Although that said he has managed some pretty creditable results against the Old Firm with Artmedia Bratislava so that's a good start.

Quaresma is a bit of an enigma.

I've seen games where he has completely run the show and been unplayable, almost making Ronaldo look like a pub player in comparison. However he is very inconsistent and doesn't deliver all the time.

The fact he failed to make an impact at Barcelona also could cast some doubt over how could handle playing for a big club, I think he is maybe the type that is happier as a big fish in a small pond. Some might say he made that move a bit too early, but then plenty of others have succeeded as teens (e.g. Ronaldo).

Another problem he had at Barca was he fell out with the coach early on and just like Ronaldo had at Man utd he needed a coach to show faith in him and let him play week in week out despite the flaws in his game, he wasn't gonna get that at Barca. Personally don't think he has developed into the kind of player he should have.

Where are you getting that from?

I dunno why I put guaranteed because I guess it just sets me up for a fall from grace. :p

Valencia hate Real Madrid though, ever since Mijatovic went from Valencia to Real. That's why Mendieta never went to Real, despite saying he wanted to play there.

Edit- I spotted this when searching for Mendieta links-

Paul Robinson's days at Tottenham could be numbered as Spurs boss Juande Ramos is chasing Manchester City keeper Joe Hart and France stopper Gregory Coupet. (The Independent)

His days have been numbered ever since Juande arrived, so thats old news. The only thing we need to know is who is going to replace him. So far we have had the following linked with us:

Gregory Coupet
Joe Hart
Carlos Kameni
The Giant who plays for PSV
Scott Carson
Robert Green
Allan McGregor
Artur Boruc

At this rate Robinson will be staying as first choice.

Rumour has it you are trying to steal Foster off us in part for any Berba deal - dont think Man Utd will fall for it though hopefully

(only mentioned it because you listed all those gk's linked to you)

You can have PIG though if you want (not sure why his nickname was that, although its a lot easier to spell than Kuszczak )

Artur Boruc

If Tottenham signed Artur Boruc then I'd expect him to be first choice really, you could do an awful lot worse than him. A good strong goalkeeper and confidence is not something he is short of, potentially Tottenham not having the same sort of religious connections/chances to wind up the opposition might do him a bit of good as well.

Other reports say that Coupet will be considering retirement after the Euro Finals, so that could be one less person on our list.

I dont know really who i would prefer between the sticks at WHL. As said above it could very well be Robinson staying put, and if he does i hope he has a cracker of a season, felt sorry for him last year and think the situation snowballed and it affected his performances as a result.

I think he meant because there are so many players being linked but not being signed it seems like no-one will sign.

I think all of those mentioned are better than Robinson, not just Boruc :p

Robinson is better than Carson and Coupet, but that's it really. The others are all very good.
