The Incredible Hulk ** NO Spoilers**

Quoting the spoiler is generally not the wisest idea then is it? Besides, you should know the drill by now... there will always be one or two slip-ups. :p

Anywhow I am a bit confused as to why this film only got a 66% rating on Rotten Tomatoes... http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/the_incredible_hulk/

I haven't spoken to anyone yet who didn't really enjoy it. It was an excellent translation of the comic book, and a bloody good film in its own right.

I think the first reviewer on there sums up why... Most people still think its a 'Sequel' to the 2003 Ang Lee film!... I felt like posting on there - Flips sake people ITS NOT A SEQUEL!!!... as with Superman Returns, Batman Begins (I know these are DC and Hulk is Marvel).. its a whole new Franchise (well Superman fits in after Superman 2 and replaces 3/4, but you get the idea!!)... Stupid people!!... (:D)

I agree, but also don't blame certain individuals for thinking so. As it doesn't really give you an introduction to the Hulk, it shows he is already exiled, he has a love interest and that the government are well aware of his ability etc etc.

just back from this, freakin awesome. Go see this if the first one made u feel sad at how bad it was. :D

platypus this is like the one in 2003 never happend

I went to see this on Saturday and enjoyed it :)
Then again, I'm easily pleased and I admit to enjoying the first one.

I did have an uncomfortable moment at one point as my girlfriend, who has rather strange taste in films, waited until a particularly serious part of the movie and burst into laughter, which she couldn't stop, despite my cursing. That was a bit embarassing. :D

Which bit?

Which bit?
I don't think it includes a spoiler to say it was the point just before and during the creation of the Abomination.

And it wasn't just quiet chuckling, it was full-on laughter  - looking back I can laugh, but I was slapping her thigh, whispering, "Shut up you crazy halfwit"....and then I looked over her shoulder and noticed the girl sitting next to her looking at her in total horror and I felt this irrational need to laugh as well. It was totally surreal :D

Yeah I mean... what happens to the Abomination? He's almost indestructible himself, and was just lying there after Hulk took off. Did they sedate him? Tie him up? Is that even possible?

I think spoilers should be ok now, it's been on for a while.

Nope, i just read that :(

Cure bit fair enough that's a given, but bad guy... :(

And considering its at the top of the page, it doesn't really get hidden in a mass of text combined with it being seperated out too :(

oh no. my bad.

though in my defense i havnt said anything that you wouldnt have known from watching the film trailer.....

The films been out ages now and most will have seen it.. you need to expect spoilers slipping out after the initial "It's new" phase.

Well not in the ***NO SPOILERS*** thread, generally i imagine they wouldn't be posted there. Hence why i looked to see people's opinions. Nevermind eh.
