Airfield close to Bristol?

I'll elaborate...trying to get to Bristol. I'll be in SW15 so looking for a easy route there...i don't drive. I'm tempted by the train but planes are faster. :)

Maybe Gatwick?

There aren't any flights from London to Bristol unless there is some obscure airline flying the route from Gatwick. There definitely isn't one from the rest though unless you want to fly private.

Just book a train make sure you do it in advance though as it should be around £40 if you don't expect a bill for £137.

Had the pleasure of visiting west Ealing today, what a dump. Also some women got in a huff as I couldn't help her. Well I aint anything to do with the trains and I aint from London. Go find a first representative, but apparently that's to hard.

Bah, nothing about all, perhaps a shade outside London? :(
Private? Could be expensive?

Once you are at Bristol Airport you can get a coach to the Centre for £6. I live within spitting distance of the airport, and there's always loads more flights on the weekend (as you'd expect).

As for flights to and from London, I haven't seen many at all, but other destinations like Dublin only cost a tenner!

Anyway, I think there's a megabus equivelent with trains, works out around £15 each way, London to Bristol, depending on what time and date you go for...

Outside London? Not that I know of. By the time you go somewhere else you might as well have walked to Bristol.

Flying private? At least a grand for a single engine charter, at least £2-3k for a bizjet.

lol, if you go the right way then its not that far out of bristol :p

though cardiff airport is the same, its all the way down past st athen rather than in cardiff.

i think there used to be flights from london city airport, but they were rare as hell!

and to get to bristol in probably longer than it takes by train!!
get to airport, check in, wait for flight, 30 min flight?, arrivals, bus into bristol - 2 and a half hours in total??

:D

Well the bonus of private is that you can turn up about 10 minutes before you're supposed to go but it's still going to take a couple of hours for getting to and from each airport.

Plus, for that sort of money I'd rather take a chauffeur driven Maybach with a couple of high class hookers in the back to keep me occupied.
