Headscarf hairdresser

I remember reading this the first time round. Im against hitting women but id love to punch that gimp in the face

travesty, it's a punk type saloon. Therefore the hair is part of the dress code.

Thanks a lot pc-brigade. Yet another win for you and another blow to conmen sense.

But they did find that she had been badly upset by the 15-minute interview and awarded Mrs Noah £4,000 damages for "injury to feelings".

16k an hour for being muslim, not too bad ey ;)

Tbf she was right, her salon needs an image, and a headscarf cannot advertise that image! POWER TO BRITS !

And she was found to be lying
The panel refused an application by Mrs Noah for aggravated damages and rejected her claims that the episode had put her off hairdressing, finding that she applied for further salon jobs before deciding to retrain in tourism.
clearly just after the money.

Its a disgrace that stuff like this even gets this far, let alone a bunch of half-wits bending over for the PC crew.

What if all you who are complaining really really wanted that hairdressing job but when you got there you hadn't got the right hairstyle and weren't willing to change it - would you be pee'd off?
Being diverse is a part of British culture and allows people like Penski and Azagoth to walk into jobs where at one time they would have been refused because of the way they look.
Equality & Diversity also allows an old bloke like me getting a job that I'm really amazed I got and still wonder why I got it.

no I wouldn't be peed off I'd go to a different salon, or change my damn hair.

Surly they could have just said no because we think you are a **** hairdresser, and we want someone better?

But if injury to feelings is a legitimate lawsuit can i sue my ex?

Ill 2x that. Especially with that annoying grin on her face in that photograph.

Thats just ridiculous though, especially in an industry such as hair styling which is all about presentation and image.

No, I think you should have a style that matches that of where you work. Would you expect an undertaker to have bright over sized mohekan(sp?) and pins all over there face? No its not the right image.

That was the hairdressers mistake.
She should have interviewed and then let her know later without saying a word.

Positive & negative discrimination goes on all the time but you don't broadcast what you've done.
