Just a simple question, which of the following cards would perform better

XFX 9600GT 512MB GDDR3 650MHz
Core Clock Speed 650 MHz
RAMDAC Clock Speed 400 MHz
API Supported OpenGL 2.0, DirectX 10
Video Memory Installed ( Max ) 512 MB - GDDR3 SDRAM
Video Output 2560 x 1600

Or

Zotac 8800GT 512MB DDR3
1800MHz memory clock
256-bit memory bus
Dual 400 MHz RamDAC

Or can anyone link me a card for less than £100 than will out preform these?

could also depend if your looking to go crossfire/sli in the future. if not then id wait and see what the ati cards are like. if there pants, 8800gt it is. or if you can afford the extra, 8800gts .
 
The 4850 will probably be a bit over 100 - but it will probably be worth the extra stretch if you can do it.
 
^ +1. Apparently it ought to be something like 130, and is rumored to have performance close to 10% faster than the 9800GTX

i'd wait, and beg borrow, or plead for the money: it'll be worth it - 'less you have an SLI board
 
im thinking if ati released these cards just before nvidia. people would more likely to go ati (if the price is right). but who knows, they think what the hell and put up exactly the same prices as nvidia. i wonder what changes they have been making in the past day or so:rolleyes:
