To the point, I found out who vandalised my car, Snapped my wing mirror off, scratching and denting front wing and door...

If you know me you know how much I love my car and how much words dont describe how angry I was... ive since calmed but im still outraged, as there was absolutely no reason behind it.

Now normally I see vandalising cars as second only to murder (well maybe 3rd..)

But I feel simply compelled to devalue his car, however I dont want to do something he will think was I did and as a result go right back to my car and do the same...

Any Ideas guys?

if you dont want any come back, do nothing.

if you really must do something, go knock on his door and tell him you know he did it and ask for some contribution to having it sorted.

Im in limbo at the moment, you really think your second suggestion would work? and to what affect?

If you are going to do something, you basically have to go all out, otherwise you end up in a tit for tat situation. You have to do something that there is no way he is going to retaliate against because he doesn't trust you to not go completely mental.

Personally I would advise talking to him, having a despute with neighbours can be a complete nightmare. However, if you can't be bothered with that then get hold of some smoke grenades (the kind you use in paintball). Spark them up, then break the rear quarter window on his car and bung them in. Nice clean and quick economic write off for him to deal with.

Are you a confident person? is he likely to just tell you for **** off and you walk away?
Would you intimidate him?

If the answers are no,yes,no, then forget it. :]

Yes, No, Probably not

Is there a way to make a car rust really quickly :D

Alternatively I want something to do that he wouldnt attribute to me, ie punctured tyre in a place you cant repair etc etc

I want to be smart about it, I dont think talking to him would achieve anything :(

It seems pretty clear you are no different to him really, how can you expect him to excercise restraint on your car when you are nothing but a vandal yourself?
