O2 Orbit ll GPS is great !

Just got my Orbit 2 and I have to say that the GPS is fantastic. I get a good lock on faster then my Tom Tom 510 (about 5 secs) and well away from the windows in the house. In fact I took it in the broom cupboard and I was still getting 4 Sats !

I'd be suprised at it getting a signal inside a cupboard.

GPS on the Orbit 1 was pretty good, sithstar something or other iirc, don't know if they've updated it in the Orbit II or not.

I have to say the GPS on my N95 is fantastic since the last firmware update.

Im not being awkward or nout, but a GPS device would have a very hard time getting a lock somewhere where it cant see any sky or an horizon.

All Gps is great, it tells you are from the awesomeness of space.

The Gps on my TYTN 2 is pretty quick, its the same one in the Orbit 2.

TBH, it's probably QuickGPS that is giving the location. No way can you get line of sight to a Satellite from inside a broom cupboard unless said cupboard has windows.
