Why? It's YOU that has screwed them over, they are now left stuck trying to find somebody else just becuase you couldnt cut it at Uni.

Fox - Although I may or may not share your sentiment....thats a bit harsh and presumptuous

refusing some people blankly either because they are gay or non-british(this is what has left me angry the most).

Yea because you're the one who is going to be living with the new housemate and they are not so you should decide who lives there and not them

oh wait...

Id probably refuse gay housemates, after living with a Bi girl, she had loads of wierd bisexual/gay mates round and it just was not comfortable for me. Not because they were gay, but because I had nothing in common and they were pretty sad as well as attention seeking.
I wouldnt like living with a gay lad because what if he had other guys round.. thats something I do not want in the place im supposed to be calling home.
None british, well I can understand that too, as certain nationalitys are quite wierd housemates in general in my experience..

Well i'm glad I'll never be living with you. You sound like someone who is so sensitive that you would be uncomfortable living with a different coloured skin person.

and they made you have sex with them? I can't see where your comments are coming from? Have you lived with stranger befor?

Yea iv lived with strangers, but I just dont fancy hearing two gay guys get it on.
Iv got gay mates, so im not homophobic.
I dont want to be laying in my bed relaxing etc hearing 2 men together really.

Not really, I dont care for colour of skin. None British doesnt have anything to do with skin colour for me, its cultures etc. Two years ago my bedroom was under some chinese peoples, they seemed nocturnal, very nocturnal, and were constantly shouting and screaming. They were somewhat rude with no common courtesy.. As where the chinese neighbours to either side.
The french people living above me last year.. well they used to spit their dummys out if we'd come in late on a night after going out, banging on the floor if we were talking or whatever while we ate.
And then the next day stamp around screaming etc to annoy us as revenge. But that didnt make much difference, because they stamped about and slammed doors and cupboards anyway.

Id rather live with someone british, as they are more likely to understand what is acceptable due to sharing the same culture as me.

I have had housemates drop out and leave me in the lurch sorting bills, and cleaning their mess. It's so stressful and amazing how people can be so selfish. I could never do that to someone. I'd just feel guilty

But it's none of your business. Would you prefer to hear a hertrosexual couple 'getting it on'?

It's a fact of life when living in a student house and I think you're opinion is unreasonable.

Whilst I disagree with him I think his point is that he doesn't want it to be any of his business.

Yeah I think, hearing a guy and a girl groaning away, would be off putting but not as much as two guys.

Perhaps the mental image one set of noises gives you us less appealing than the other.

Maybe, but tbh, thinking about my housemates having sex is enough to mentally scar me :p

In my last flat, I used to be the sex DJ. When someone was getting it on in their room I used to play cheesy sex songs LOL! :D Made em quieten down.

Khia - My neck, my back was an absolute hit
Also that song...I'm too sexy for my......I played that often too

I think my favourite track to stop the sex is 'Gettin' Jiggy wit it' :D

My usual way of stopping groans is to text them and say "Everytime god hears you groan he kills a kitten. Please, think of the kittens." Seems to work.

This has happened to me and scarred me for around 2 weeks and I wasn't able to look them in the eye. I walked into the lounge to see them in an naughty pose together. None of us have spoken a word of it ever since.

I take a more direct approach. I ask them how it was and then offer them tips :D

I probally would have stayed up and watched :P but it was nigh on 7am, just got back from a rave and was a little pie eyed to say the least. The next day I was in a state but the sspense from both of them only confirmed it. I'd love to be 18 and very silly/naughty again.
