err you seem to be lacking some intelligence. You wont waste your money on Barry as you already have enough midfielders, and the money is best spent on super big names.
You wont buy him just to take him off us, theres bigger targets.
Why would selling a player who rarely gets on the bench mean that you may get Barry in return? thats just stupid..
Barry wouldnt go to chelsea to sit on your bench. Hes got 3 big attractions at liverpool - Champions league(yes you're in it too but we usually do better), Gerrard(you dont have your best mate in the squad), more chance of starting place(being Gerrard's best mate, and us selling Alonso would mean he was one of the 3 experienced midfielders)
 
Arsenal have finally signed nasri, didn't see much of him at euro 2008 but reckon he is a decent signing. Rosicky-Fabregas-unamed defensive midfielder-nasri could be dynamite.

Please ship off hleb to barca with yaya toure in the other direction!!!!!

Got to agree here, I have been really impressed with Engelaar...first time I have seen him , I think he would do well in the english game, he's big, strong, likes to marshall the midfield and sprays the ball about a bit. Very impressed with him, especially for 6million
 
Well, if he wants to stay then there's absolutely no reason for all the delaying tactics. Ronaldo going doesn't bother me, I'm fine with that. What I am keen to see happen is the right quality players are brought in to improve the team overall.
 
The Riise deal was original estimated to be around 8M euros. Everyone was surprised and made up we were getting so much for him. The 5M euros is the official figure now though. Not too bad considering his recent level of performances and length left of his contract

Anyone else know why Bolton paid £5.5m for Birmingham midfielder Muamba? Looked very average when I've seen him play.

assuming yer playing barry the CM at left wing :p
