Anyone here passed their test with 0 minors?

Got 11 minors but passed first time, although in my defence over the minors I hadn't driven for 3 months while at uni and only had 45 minutes before the exam to practice all the maneuvers and was an absolute sack of nerves while doing the exam :P

I got seven on my bike test. I've never heard of anyone getting none, although I think one of my friends got very very few, he passed his test 5 weeks after turning 17 as well or something silly. Eager beaver :D

No minors here. If you don't pass first time, you shouldn't be on the road (etc).

I had 2 minors in the end (Being Lazy with indicators). My friends brother passed with 0 minors. Managed to roll his car several times over a central reservation. Then with his second car managed to put it in a hedge and needed his dad to tow it out. Ironically his brother passed second time and appart from a speeding ticket he has a totally clean accident history. Passing your test first time just means you can do what is required. By no means does it mean you can control a car correctly.

Yep - I did - I had NO minors! ;)

My dirving instructor was well impressed.

In the 18 years he had been teaching, none of his students have ever passed with no minors.

Passed first time with 3 minors for not overtaking a school bus dropping off some kids on a blind bend with school kids everywhere. 4 years on and I still wouldn't overtake that bus!

When I passed my test first time oh......some 15 years ago I did so with 6 minors.
My brother passed his test a couple of weeks ago with 3 minors (his first attempt too).
Never heard of 0 minors before - although probably not that rare, but well done that person.

I passed my test in 1990 and I've never heard of 'minors' - were they introduced some time in the three years between my test and yours? How do you know how many 'minors' you have, did you get told verbally or what?

I got 2. One for changing down to 3rd instead of up to 5th DOH and another for only looking over one shoulder when pulling away from an emergency stop (even though I'd been looking in the mirrors up to that point)

I did.
Whats a minor?

(It was 1975)

Well I've never heard of this before;

Either because it might be different in Jersey or I never got one so I wouldn't know about it.

I thought I made two mistakes doing my test but the instructer said I did the correct thing (huge lorry just stopped quickly at a t-junction to load and had to go around, I took priority so made a move and all was ok.. but at the time I thought, ah crap... i'm going to fail).

At the end of the test I asked if there was anything that I did wrong, she said no.

Friend did pass with no minors but he had in excess of 45 lessons.
At least he passed and good on him.

I got 2, one for driving over the hatchings at some right turn traffic lights, the other for not driving in a bus lane when the signs had been removed...

I got 49 out of 50 on the theory and 1 minor on the practical... I was happy as going into the practical i was a bag of nerves.
