Can you recreate Facility off Goldeneye on HALO 3?

TS2 had a excellent map editor thats dates back 6+ years. Only thing that limited it was the consoles being bound to memory cards so the maps were not huge. I also remember the game had a crazy amount of game types. At least in double figures. Same for the amount of characters you could use.
 
I agree. TimeSplitters 2, and arguably 1 if you were up for local multiplayer, were exceptional.

Shame they made TS2 on the Xbox uber-sensitive.

Nothing has beaten TS2 for 4 player split screen gaming for me. Most of the levels and coop were superb but TS3 seemed to take itself too seriously.
 
I agree. It was brilliant, but better on Playstation 2 than Xbox for me. I bought it on the XBox and ended up going around my mates house who had it for the PS2 more :p. Great game and one of my fondest gaming memories.

The difference was I wasn't just naming every exclusive; only imo, the top ones.

Heavenly sword, Ridge Racer 7, Hot Shots Golf, Motorstorm? Really? The cream of the PS3 crop?

I left out good but not imo 8-10 titles like Eternal Sonata, Ridge Racer 6, Ace Combat 6, Blue Dragon, Beautiful Katamari, Scene It!, 99 Nights, Chromehounds, DOA4, Kameo, Naruto: Rise of a Ninja, PD0 and Chromehounds.

If you want the actual metacritic list of all (not sports as it would make it unfair) titles on the 360 but not the PS3 (also not counting downloadable titles):

Look. What's good for one person can be different for someone else.
I was a PC gamer (a SOE mmrpg player for years) with a PS1 and Xbox and sold the lot when the 360 came out.
When it was right to get a Wii I've bought one (family time).
When it's right to buy a PS3 I'll buy one.

I'm just with Nokkon that there are only 2 must haves on the sysyem; Uncharted and MGS IV. There may be a lot of other good titles but only two system sellers and as a rpg fan first and foremost there are no, never mind great, exclusive rpgs to get me going.
So this is my stance (note I said >>my<<); Mass Effect, Bioshock, Dead Rising, Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon were my system sellers. (Actually include Oblivion as the 360 was the only console place to play this for the first year) and the half dozen or so rpgs due out this year are enough to keep me happy.
There will be some PS3 games that get my juices going but they're not here yet. When they come out I'll get one but right now I can't (maybe because of my genre preference) get my head round anyone who argues the PS3 has more great games than the 360.

You are absolutely right, out of your list there isn't a great deal I am interested in.

Gears of War
Lost Odyssey
Dead Rising

And one of those I can play an improved version of on my PC.

Nothing else really interests me on the 360, there is substantially more Exclusives on the 360 but to say the PS3's list is poor, like you say its all personal opinion but I would take the PS3 exclusive list over the 360's any day of the week, but that's probably just me.

I do think Sony need to start getting some JRPG's sorted though because MS are really throwing money around in this area right now to try increase the Japanese market.

Also, I didn't list every PS3 exclusive, just the ones which got an 8 or above on sites such as IGN/Gamespot.

At the end of the day like I keep saying its personal choice, but the PS3's list really isn't as bad as people make out, and is getting better and better.

I agree, its each to there own taste of games in the end, there isnt really one 360 game that i cant do without, or doesnt end up on the PC. As for the JRPG situation i find it funny that the latest "paid" for timed exclusive jrpg for the 360 is subtitled the last hope!:D
 
Where's Ridge Racer 6 on your list of 360 games? Lots prefer it to 7.

Surely when you factor in that non-exclusives are almost always the same or better on the 360, you can't really argue the PS3 has a better line-up? Gran Turismo 5: Prologue is just a demo and Ninja Gaiden Sigma is just Ninja Gaiden with prettier graphics.

Still, it's down to taste I guess, if more of the PS3 games appeal to you then you obviously should have a PS3 :)
 
So many people here criticize games and then expect that to be the general consensus. Its not the case, So many of the fantastic exclusives on the Xbox 360, I would argue are pants. Just the same way you guys are doing with with PS3 ones.

Not every game appeal to everyone. The exclusives are there on both consoles, and people are going to love and hate different games through out the lists.

For example, out of that 360 list. the only games I would say are "cream of the crop" are:

Thats the way the market balances for me. Obviously, the balance changes from person to person though. Which seems to get forgotten by a few

Have you actually played these games then? What didn't you like? For someone that doesn't actually own a PS3 I find it hard to take what you're saying seriously, as at the end of the day you don't know what you're talking about. You're speculating or voicing other peoples opinions, you cant comment on whats a good game or not without playing it imo.

To be fair, ridge racer 7 was rubbish :E

Heavenly sword, while inferior to other games in the genre is a great experience, motorstorm was very good, especially for a launch title and hot shots golf is one of the most addictive games evor.
 
You all fail to realise that Wii numbers arn't accurate, as many girls own them , so they can be discounted ;)
