gotta remember that the N64 was only released in 1996, two years after i left high school but only 1 year after my girlfriends 13 year old daughter was born!

She only know about N64s because I introduced her to it. She's never heard of a Sega Master System or used a Megadrive.

We (the original gen of console gamers!) have seen all these games first time around when the concepts were fresh. Half life for example was an amazing game, however most gamers under 20 will not have played it.

I'm off to fetch my pipe and slippers now and watch Songs of Praise...

Eaaaaaah...Nah. Better than Halo 3. But Gears of war and COD4 were superior IMO

Meh, not impressed with that list... Although my top 10 would be questionable so who am I to complain?
I'd liked to have seen Portal in the top 10 though, found it to be very enjoyable and it's still a good laugh to play.

Dunno, but I agree that any poll of the public should ask for their personal top ten games or something like that. I can think of games I consider awesome but choosing between them is just not possible.

When it comes to sheer quality, i'm still waiting for a console to do it better.
