Best PSN title

What PSN game is currently the best to buy? Warhawk looks good but cant justify the price really (Student alert), maybe one of the cheaper games but no idea which is the best, any ideas?

Hard to say which is my favourite. In terms of hours put into PSN games I would say I spent most time on:

PixeJunk Monsters
Super Stardust HD
Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection Online
Warhawk

(not in any order)

I think Tekken is 15 quid, Warhawk 20 and the others <7 quid ?

Been looking at super stardust and looks very tempting at the moment. But whats the longevity of Warhawk like?? multiplayer looks pretty good and may be worth it in the long run. Is there still a good amount of people playing it online?

Warhawk will definitely last you if you're into online multiplayer.

Super Stardust HD is great for quick goes and is surprisingly deep if you intend to climb the leaderboards.

for me though, Super stardust HD is easily the best buy on PSN :)

There's a Warhawk (with headset) on sale for £18 in the Member's Market atm, but you've not got enough posts to have access.
It's ojste who's selling.
 
Another vote for Super Stardust HD althouh I rate Blast Factor just as much as it.

I still enjoy fl0w if i've had a few too many and just want to chill out.

To be fair there is a lot of servers for Warhawk still, but a fair few are running at least 1 of the 2 expansions, so if price is your concern it is probably the most expensive title on PSN (Original price + 2 expansions at 3.99 each (I think) )!.

I forgot to mention fl0w which I have spend many many hours playing. I find it very soothing (because of the soundtrack mainly)

Pixel Junk Monsters !!

I found it so much fun I ended up completing the whole game on perfect.

One of the best PSN games imo.
 
I recommend Rayman - it's a PS1 game available on the PSN and only £3.49. It's a large game and you'll get your money's worth. One of the better platformers in the old days.

Warhawk is an online-only game anyway :p Yes there's still a lot of people playing, although you will have to pay for the two expansions because most servers are exclusive to them.

I recommend Super Stardust HD. Try to beat my score ;)
 
Is Pixeljunk Monsters hard to play? I'm completely crap at RTS type games. Also, has anyone got/played Pixeljunk Racer?

PSN should have demos for everything as standard - they do for some games, not for others :confused::confused::confused:
 
Value for money I'd say either Super Stardust or PJM. Both excellent games and highly addictive.

If I had to pick one I'd say PJM, but it does get tough the further you progress.
