ps: Craig, What you decided ???

I've decided to go for it.

I was going to go for the Yuraku as it has HDCP, but it's 200:1 less on the contrast and 200cd/m2 less on the brightness, so I'm going to go for the L2442WD with the "Silver Universal LCD Wall Mount Bracket For Screens Up To 24'' With Tilt and Turn Function" to mount it. I don't need HDCP so L2442WD it is ;)

Are the L2442WD screens still guaranteed PVA?

Also, what cables does the Digimate come with? I noticed the Yuraku doesn't come with DVI-DVI, only HDMI to DVI (HDMI from card, DVI into screen).

Oh, and is it 100x100 VESA?

Thanks for the replies everyone.

Craig.

Hi Craig

OcUK guarantee a VA panel which can be a MVA or PVA.

It comes with DVI-DVI and VGA-VGA cables.

Not sure about the VESA.

Oops, I forgot I asked if it was VESA in my first post.

One more question: are the connections vertical? As in do you push them up rather than straight into the back?

Hiya,

You mean how does the vesa plate attach to the monitor ??

If so

The plate will bolt straight into the monitor so if i read it right they are as you put it "straight into the back"

Hope that helps

Me Oops too lol

Ok, Sorry the ports are vertical

Approx 1/3 way up from bottom of panel

ps: Thinking about it they would have to be really as you can wall-mount the monitor (silly me lol)

aye the -TN one, its very handy having all those connectors, ive got my Wii plugged into the component, PC in DVI, laptop in VGA, and plan to have an xbox in the HDMI :D

I recieved it at work yesterday and was gaurding it like an angry dog all day, wasnt going to let anyone get there grubby finger prints on the nice shiney casing :p

chose this over the new benQ one thats set to pre-order as im impatient, so you might want to look at that one too!

Why would you get the TN one? The viewing angle won't be good at all.
