decided to cheer myself up with a new car tonight after a week or so of hunting i've finally found what i wanted :)

1.9 gti engine with headwork and newman cam 4 branch manifold and a full stainless exhaust, certainly cant complain
 
got a folder 4 inches thick with reciepts and all the old mot,s and best of all :) mot till august tax till october and 475 quid :)
 
really suits them i think shifts too, had a play with the wife in the lcr on the way home and more than happy with the performance :)

all thats sitting in my front garden atm is a 309 gti and a cupra :)
 
looks a minter, never got to drive one back in the day though my brother did have the 205 1.9 gti with fast road cam and tweaks, which i would often borrow when my car mysteriously broke down ahem, were they based on the same floor plan or completely differnet. the 205 is the most fun fwd car i have ever drove.

yeah well its clean and tidy but not without its problems the clifford alarm is playing up something rotten so might have to get a new alarm fitted at some point and this makes locking the car fun (delocked) slight chuff from the manifold thats going to get sorted tommorow (if i get out of bed early enough) also need to try and find an unmolested parcel shelf :)
