Today, NVIDIA officially launched GPU acceleration for PhysX when they released the PhysX driver version 8.06.12 which enables PhysX acceleration for the following cards :
GeForce GTX 280
GeForce GTX 260
GeForce 9800 GTX+
GeForce 9800 GTX

You will need to install the latest 177.39 ForceWare driver in addition to the PhysX driver. At this moment, PhysX support has only been enabled for those four GPUs. NVIDIA will progressively enable PhysX support in the other GeForce 9 and GeForce 8 graphics over the next few weeks

If anyone finds a rehost stick it up these are intermittent and horribly slow.

70fps on the PhysX UT3 level is very impressive. Just wondering if those are not max FPS instead of average though. What they need though are more PhysX games. Not used my PPU in months as I finished the few decent games ages ago.

Yeah Robert they should with a mod. Does anyone know if they support folding@home though? Gonna throw these on later if they do.

I love their choice of comparisons, 3d mark, and a game that universally bombed and had epic throwing hissy fits about pc gamers.

:p

Still be interesting to see how it works out, be nice having physics working on the vid card instead of stumping up for yet another add in board.

I just wanna see if it improves performance across the board! Though I can now boast to be physix enabled! Will I become the new Pottsey? Only time will tell :p

I think people are trying to use the modded inf at the moment but seems to be to no avail so far!

Yea i just tried on my 8800GTS (not 512mb G92) and it didn't work. Someone on the Guru3d forums with the 8800GTS 512mb G92 got it to work and the section in the picture below was highlighted and active:
