Having resisted spending more than token funds on music at all over the last decade (if not longer) I may actually go and buy the Ting Tings album later, am I wasting a tenner or is it any good?

Quite possibly the worst band to have existed in the last decade.

That's not true and you know it isn't.

I'm getting sick to death of people slating every other band as being the "worst band ever" when blatently they aren't.

Some people like them, some people don't, some people hate them, some people want to murder them.

I don't particularly like the Ting Tings, I saw them live on the NME awards tour and they weren't that bad for what they are.

Certainly no White Stripes.

I quite like The Ting Tings myself. It's a album full of catchy light hearted songs. Nothing groundbreaking or trendy, but a good happy album :D

Echoing the 'if the album is like that awful single its rubbish don't bother' sentiment.

I actually like the single :o

I certainly wouldn't purchase the album on the strength of one tune though.

From what I've heard (and that isn't the whole album), they aren't terrible, just cheesy pop. Personally I think that September or Infernal are better cheesy Euro-pop but then I'm not buying the album, you are.

She can't sing, play guitar and isn't attractive. The guy I haven't even got a clue what he does but I doubt it's very much other than banging a drum occasionally.

Their music is really bad and I just don't see the appeal. I like some bad stuff, so I'm not being super elitist, but this band is just awful.

I said that single would get to number one the first time i heard it.

Its catchy.

Its no Stockholm Syndrome or Let it be, but its ok.

I doubt they have enough catchyness in the pair of them to fill an album mind.

Kid Pop - my 3yr old loves em:D, them and Mika. As already advised - get radioheads greatest tbh unless you want to be humming crap for the rest of the week..

The only song i like is 'shut up and let me go' which is used on the itunes advert, otherwise i think the rest are pretty generic pop and not worth the purchase.

'That's not my name' sends me into a fit of rage when it comes on the radio. As soon as the intro comes on I'll be smashing the '1,2,3,4,5' buttons in the car furiously trying to get it off, before she opens her mouth.

It is the only song this year to make me do this. Sometimes it's been playing on two stations at once...

Please don't waste your hard earned.

They are not that good though most of the bands in the charts these days are not really my taste in music. Though a lot of people must like it if its in the charts if i was you i would save my money and skip this one.
