Well not quite! But we can dream

No offence RTB but, as much as I like looking at hot women, using such pictures and presuming it's going to make our 'demographic' (people interested in IT) want to buy more from your company is a little insulting. :)

To note: the pics had been removed by the time I'd read this thread but I REALLY don't want to be browsing these forums at work suddenly get these showing up on my screen (if it's the ones used before on the forums then I can guess what they were).

/ends customer feedback (and yes, I am a customer!).

Pictures are still there for me?
Someone has asked about copyright before, it is probably breaking copyrights, but that is only the case if the copyright holder complains.

I think the same pictures exist on the actual overclockers site (non forums), which is when it was last queried.

I won't say anymore as someone will probably say it is anti OcUK talk and suspend me or something. It's a case of their house, so their rules (which is fair enough). "Do as I say, not as I Do :) "

Arent you reading into it a little too much there mate? Its just a common advertising trait, its in the name of fun more than anything, I hardly see it as insulting. I can understand NSFW though.

I don't think so. It's quite clear why it's done. There aren't any other hardware shops that I know that use such tactics. Especially forums that are accessed at work and by those who perhaps shouldn't be seeing these sort of images.

Besides, there's a difference between advertising something with a beautiful/classy woman and some trashy skank with her bits hanging out (although her bits are nice!). Just isn't needed here.
