sadly the air bag warning light has started flashing at me... the hand book says take the car to a Ford Dealer... but as my fiesta is a 97.. 11 year old this could be rather expensive...

Has anyone got any Ideas or solutions to my problem so I can avoid the dealer..

Thanks

All i know is that airbags are meant to be changed/checked by the dealer every ten years. Don't know if that helps at all?

There are a few car with airbag wiring under the seat that can get a dodgy connection, causing the light to come on. Don't know if the Fiesta is one of them, but its worth a check.

This has happened to 2 of my mates cars now, and each time its turned out to be a dodgy connection.

hey guys cheers for the help... after a look under the seats we found the seat roller had pulled a wire out.. we have since soldered the wire back on and insulated it.. problem fixed
