Wow.... just wow

I have had some performance cars in my time but nothing could have prepared me for the Cerbera.

The sound of the flat plane cranked v8 was awsome, I can't get it out of my head, coupled with the amazing exhast note 108db (some track day bungs take it down to 105db) and it sounds..... well I can't tell you how it sounds because words do not do it justice. Although amazingly loud it is not a chav over the top loud but in keeping with the true supercar nature of the beast.

Performance well 4 sec 0-60 from the maped and tuned 4.5ltr v8 was just so dramatic, and in gear acceleration was devistating. The AVO coilovers just kept her stuck to the road and when she did break free at the rear she stayed flat and was very predictable (after market shocks are a must to sort the handling). The AP racing brakes haul her up on the button.

Oh the chap drove down with his sisters Husband in a F430 and the Cerb destroyed it, on a track all the electics in the Ferrari would probably give a faster lap time but not by too much. THere really is not much that can touch a 400bhp 1100kg car!

The car was in fantastic condition and the interior was beautiful, the letterbox like windsreen reall made you feel like you are cacooned (the rollcage is covered in leather and limits the windo apature a little).

The car has had all the work you would want to have been completed on a Cerb and she has been maintained with no expense spared and at 31k miles has been used enough to avoid problems but not enough to hit others.

Agreed sale at £15.3 and he is paying the bill for a trip to a TVP Specialist in July to fix a couple of bits to make it perfect

Can't say I like the blue accents of the interior, but that aside you have a cracking car coming your way.

Brighton eh? I'm from Burgess Hill. If I see you, I'll try to keep up in my CTR! :o :D

Always wanted a Cerbera, right from when they were first released.

Never will have one because of their perceived reliability and the fact that I now have a baby on the way. :(

Doesn't stop me being really envious of you - a lovely colour, too!

I have just had (well my misses) a Little girl who is now 4 weeks old so that no ecxuse ;)

The AJP8 engine is pretty solid and will do 50k easy if looked after, the speed 6 engine is what has given TVR the bad rep, it you get one with replaced clutch and clutch slave that is serviced well and regularly has its chassis waxoiled they are prety reliable for what they are.

Parts wise they are made of lots of other cars so excluding engine and clutch you cna get parts easily enough and as they aer not overly computerised you can work on them easily enough.

The 4.5ltr is better than the 4.2 as that has a weaker crank which can shear. both as standard push about 360 bhp and only with an induction kit and remap will the 4.5 get near its 420 bhp figure (mine is dyno'd at 397bhp odd)

THe eterior is stunning and the colour is realy nice in person. The swooping shape of the interior really hugs you and until you sit in one you will never truly know how stunning they are.

Hopeflly I will be at the next RR meet so any doubters can see for themselves

I'm just not sure I could justify spending the sort of money these are demanding when I knew it would inevitably break down or need an expensive repair bill while I owned it. Are they really THAT good that you can turn a blind eye to that? Or is it more of a fanboy type thing where they've just got a reputation and people don't care that they fall apart?

Amazing cars, and your right about the sound. One drove out of the car park the other week in silverstone and everyone around me turned away from the race to see what it was. :D

I was looking at buying one myself as you get so much car for £12 - £15k but I'd need it to be my daily driver so couldn't put up with the TVR reliability issues. Would be an awesome second car though, so you know... one day.....

Edit: Oh and the cerbera has the best interior I've ever seen. Its just so different, and the way the leather wraps around everything :) :)

Great looking car. Agreed with you about the acceleration, it's just amazing.....no hesitation at all, just instant power. Mate had one dyno'd at ~440bhp, sold it a few years back though...still miss it :p

Monster :D

very nice.

I worked on a griffith years back, about a week we had it in, all week was spent picking at its build quality / kit carness - all that went out the window when I got to deliver it back to it's owner :D:D

Absolute BEAST. Whoever is at the RR needs some good quality video and audio recordings of this thing.

I really hope there are some still around and good when I can aford to own one.

Underground carparks are funny from what I've seen, saw a Tuscan reving it a tad under there and off went a few car alarms :D
