Surely you don't play the game yourself with a comment like that? no-one would wish a "snapped leg" on anyone, if you'd seen it happen yourself.

I do love the antagonism growing about him by the Man U fans, especially after he won you the CL and Prem - it's very warming!

Sorry we'll just accept that he's messing the club and its fans around.

Nobody's particularly bothered that he wants to leave, its the way he's going about it thats annoying people.

Arshavin would not be a bad acquisition for any club, last two games he has been top draw and apparently Zenit supporters have been raving about him for years.

Think his agent has come out and said he plans on leaving Zenit after the euros, so now its just a matter of who will sign him.

Rooney of 2 years ago was phenomenal. I believe he's had 4 broken feet in 3 years. That's difficult for anyone, but especially someone so young. The leg work he puts in and the assists he get are excellent.

If he'd done it all privately, come out and said "I feel I've done everything I can at Man Utd and achieved everything in England, it will be difficult, I love the fans, the club, the staff and the players, but I would like to reach out and attempt a new challenge in my career" then seriously, there wouldn't be so much discontent amongst the Man Utd fans.

It isn't impossible (particularly when comparing an almost universally praised player to an almost universally slated one, I believe even Maric's mother calls him useless) but after a certain point it is simply an opinion, especially when comparing footballers of high skill levels.

Once Ronaldo goes, I hope we can use the money well and bring in some exciting players.
But I also think it could help out the likes of Rooney etc to not have him around.
Perhaps the main one to benefit however could be Nani.
Nani might be close to Ronaldo in age but Ronaldo has had 3 or so more years in the league of course.
Of the two, I think their first season with us are remarkably comparable.
Perhaps Nani has that strength already that Ronaldo didn't at first but thats about it.
Thats not to say Nani will become as good as Ronaldo but who knows?
Nani is immature, play acts, is selfish at times and doesn't have the best decision making. But he's also fast, two footed, can score goals, has some tricks and has a great cross on him.
We were saying much the same about Ronaldo after his first year.
As to how good he will become is probably completely down to him and how willing he is to put the effort in to his shortcomings. The basic talent is defiantly there.
