no.... if you modify it, warranty void. fair enough. if your psu goes bang and takes the card out, warranty void. again, thats fair. if your card goes bang or develops a fault of its own and you havent modified it in any way. its covered.

Refers to yours, read above, peeps get a 9800GX2 is they RMA an Ultra (they dont have an Ultra to give you) so you think they tell you to beat it we dont make Ultra's :p

If you lived in the USA and had a Lifetime Warranty, not a Limited Lifetime Warranty, you would be entitled to use it to RMA a card after 20 years of use.

Not saying like today you would get the new Equivalent of a 9800GX2 for a broken Ultra but you would get a card of some sort.

I can game for now at 1920's and may need drop to 1600's with newer games (time will tell).

I will grab the next round of cards skipping these lot.

I think you know by now I wont ever own a ATI card (have ran/tested many for others over the years).

never understood the point oif a long warranty on gfx card. i mean most people that buy he top stuff dont have it a year later as they got the next thing. 2year warratny is about as max as you will ever need.

not always...i bought my bfg7800gt when they were fairly new and still have it (in the secondary comp now)...its been sent back once and been replaced.
when i buy a better graphics card il take my bfg8800gts out(of my main rig) and put that in the secondary comp and put the 7800gt in the third replacing the 6800gt in there.

i could have got the cards a bit cheaper by getting a different brand but the warranty comes in handy for me.
