 Im thinking of selling my PS3, it doesn't matter what games i play on it i just can't but help preferring the Xbox 360 for it's ease of use, better controller and the fact that when i watch DVD's i can control it with my Harmony as opposed to having to get out the PS3 controller.

Am i mad or is there anyone else out there feeling the same?

**Edit** I know it's a blue-ray player as well but tbh im not that fussed in paying over £20 when i can play a normal DVD and upscale it.

OMFG!

You want to keep a console which you prefer in everyway and get rid of the one that just doesn't feel 'right'!

Yes you're stark raving bonkers!

HEATHEN!

No, your not mad, if you don't use it that's a good enough reason to sell it! :)

Josh

I do use it, i've been playing COD4 on it for months, i've pre-ordered Battlefield Bad Company for it, been on it this morning with my son on Godfather.
Thing is though it hit me earlier that i could've bought COD4 and pre-ordered Battlefield Bad Company on the 360.

Im just edging towards getting one platform instead of the 3 that i've got at the moment.

Mind you i know the wife wont let me get rid of the Wii as well. :)

Get MGS4, complete that then sell it :p

if you're gonna get rid of it you may as well have a go on its arguably best game while you have the chance.

I'd say go for it! If you don't want to play single platform games like Metal Gear Solid 4 then you may aswell go for one platform.

Do you watch Blu Ray?

If im honest i can't be arsed to play MGS4, i got into the 1st one years ago and finished that but since then i've not been bothered.

I've just been playing the Bad Company demo on the 360 and it's no different to the PS3 one, so im not going to lose out one bit.

O.K i pay for the online play but i have since the 360 came out as i got one on launch day so im not too fussed about that.

Im so confused though, do you think i'd miss it if it wasn't here?

If you're not getting Blu-Ray films and the release list doesn't look decent, then sell.

I know there's not an amazing amount out there now, but games like FF XII, Wipeout HD and LBP are definitely reasons to keep it (for me anyway)

Go for it if your not feeling it, waste of money really just sitting there. If there arent any exclusives you like now or in the near future and you dont watch blu-rays you probably wont miss it. You may miss the quietness though!

Of course it's quiet if it's never used :p

Might be an idea to wait for the next firmware and see if in-game xmb makes a difference to your opinion.

That won't suddenly make him play games though.
To the OP, I do think selling it would be a bad idea though, it does a lot of stuff very well and from this point compared to the point you bought it there are MORE games out, and we're closer to more, better games.

I think this close to E3 is a bad time to be buying or selling PS3's or Xbox 360's tbh. So much could be announced for either platform that I would wait for the sake of a few weeks.

I am constantly "about" to sell my 360 or about to sell both my ps3 and 360 and I never do, something convinces me to hold on to them. Like you (I suspect) I hate to own stuff that just sits on a shelf and doesn't get used, but then I hear of something new and it convinces me to hold on for a while.

(atm SS2HD:Remix Beta on Xbox Live next week is making me hold on to the 360 and MGS4 and not completing GTA4 or DMC4 are making me hold on to the PS3). But to be honest if I sold either I suspect I would end up buying a replacement within a year, which would probably be even worse value for money.

The way I see it both consoles have great exclusives which keep me from not selling either of them.

If your not interested in the current lineup or future titles like LittleBigPlanet, FFXIII, God of War 3, the next UEDA game, Wipeout, Motorstorm 2, Resistance 2 or Killzone 2 then just sell it.

You see this is why i wanted other peoples take in this.

Am i going to be wanting one again in the near future if i sell?

Noise-wise im not too fussed as i've got a full DTS setup so rarely hear anything but superb effects whichever platform im playing or watching.
