Hey guys,

I need to backup an old DVD, the first DVD I ever bought in fact ;)

I can't/don't want to buy it again; it's been deleted, although it is available 2nd hand from the famous river company for $80!!!

On the odd occasion in the past I've used trials of CloneDVD on XP, but I've just gone to the official site and I'm pretty sure the current trial has just messed up my os installation – I think it has somehow disabled Windows update… So I need a new all in one program that can meet my requirements. I don’t want to have to start extracting, shrinking etc using different software.

Are there any nice freebies out there? I don't really want to have to fork out a load of cash for only one disc.

Cheers,

SW.

Yeah, i guess. I But I'd also like to be able to burn the resulting backup directly.

That's why I always used to like using Clone, it was an all in one solution? And it also created a copy of the movie on your hd.
