I agree, some of the old episodes were pretty dire, one that stands out was where James May was talking about how because the Passat was facelifted you could get the older one for a few thousand quid less....awesome

Now it's awesome 90-100% of the time rather than 50%

Agree with this, Top Gear is just entertainment, I don't want realistic advice to be given. I'd snooze in to Fifth Gear should I ever feel like a semi-informative motoring programme. Of course when I say "informative" I mean that in the loosest sense of the word.

Had almost forgotten about Top Gear being on tonight due to the Grand Prix stealing my attention, looking forward to it. :)

Option 1 - Watch a bunch of sissy faggots run around a field for 90 minutes, acting like big queens.
Option 2 - Watch fire, explosions, cars and manly man stuff.
 
i'd rather watch the football live, then download TG and watch it.

i want to watch both, and TG isn't going out live, so it's not the end of the world watching it 2 hours later :/
 
I want to see the badgers racing tigers! I think the badgers would need some sort of edge, perhaps some offroad motorbikes. Or jet-powered skateboards.

Sabine Schmitz is back in this series, which sounds promising.

They managed to bodge the preview video they promised to have up by 1600 today, which sadly isn't surprising. The top gear website is full of "due to technical gremlins, we can't do what we said we'd do" messages. So they're now promising the preview video the day after the first episode. Err...preview, hello?
