Quoted for truth. Police in England have it bad when you compare most of their cars to this beast.

Some English forces have such vehicles, West Yorkshire certainly, but you will likely never see them deployed during urban unrest.

While other countries use water cannons and CS cannisters to disrupt crowds, the UK Government and senior officers think it is too oppressive to use such things including armoured vehicles and prefer the cops to get bricked and stoned but not in the splifflical sense.
