Top Gear Returns Sunday 22nd June 2008

Wan't amazing but I laughed at Jeremy's wheel shredder thing. Also look forward to him blowing that tyre on a bently was it? The look on his face was priceless.

Lol it was a good show, BEEN a while since i watched it, Made me laugh when one of them bought that Suzuki jeep and put the police sirens all around it, Lol the stinger was ingenious.

Thought the episode was great, lots of laughter here :D

That ice cream van jingle was just so funny when they were clearing the road! LOL!! :D

This is just ridiculous, the only adverts i've seen of this are ones where they don't ******g give the time, and just say "Coming Soon", i mean whats the ******g point. And now ive missed it.

BRILLIANT

GOOD JOB BBC!

Most managed it...and the adverts they showed did say tonight...

Next time tell the BBC when you are and are not going to be indoors so they know when to show the correct advert for you

Should come back on in the Iplayer or something, And they will have repeats.

On a serious note, I did think the M3 versus Prius was a very clever piece and hopefully made a lot of people think a bit.

Whats the kerb weight of each? Track work with braking will generally give the lighter cars better economy when there both doing the same speed.

EDIT: Looks like the M3 is actually 200kg heavier. Hybrid mode wont be doing anything on track work though as its unlikely the regen will be capturing anything so your just rinsing a 1.5 engine round whilse the M3 cruises around.

Did like the part on the battery transporation though. Drilling 4 holes like that in those wheels on the Fiat, nutters!

Was in't pub at the time (birthday), just finished watching, and, TBH, it was pretty naf.

Ambitious but rubbish just isn't funny sometimes.

That said, that coupé must have been awful to drive, I've driven the Punto at 90 with an unbalenced rear wheel before, the dashboard was a blurr, backed off to about 60 for the rest of the trip.

The Britons didn't have blades on the wheels of their chariots.

Boudicca's forces fought the Roman army just once and were routed despite outnumbering the Roman soldiers at least 10 to 1.

But what the hell, it was funny. Although I laughed more at the paint job on May's "police car". A jam sandwich with "ROZZERS" on the bonnet - hilarious.

I'm not too keen on the stuntman thing, but maybe it'll work out.

Not the best episode I've seen, but good enough.

i laughed sooo hard when jeremy started using his secret weapon!!
but bl0000dy hell did u see how close it was to the camera man and hammond?

The ludicrous analogies are always fun..."It's like God having really unusual sex". I wonder how many complaints they get about that one.

Anyone else really hating how much time goes on start in a reasonably priced car section?

Still I couldn't help laughing when ever may had his siren on :p
