Hey all,

Was out on the drink Saturday night and it got to around 11pm when we all decided to go to a different club. I got about half way to the next club when I realised I didnt have my wallet (panic ) so me and one of my mates start to wander back to the club we were just in.

A man was walking out just as we got there with what looked like my wallet in his hand, I asked and it sure was. He said he had just found it on the stairs and was going to hand it to the bouncers, I thanked him and wandered off.

For some reason at the time I didnt think to check if my money was still there, just opened it and saw all my cards. Now I think I might have had a tenner in there but I am not 100% certain. At the time I was just grateful that I got my wallet back and didnt really care about a tenner.

Anyway lesson learned, even if the person who found it did take my cash I am not too fussed because I would have gave him something anyway for giving me it back.

So anyway rant over and lesson learned, I will never be carrying my wallet again when I go out on the drink and dont recommend anyone else doing so. I am just going to carry my ID and bank card.

Bit of a pointless thread I know but meh...

Sam

I just remembered something I was going to ask, should I inform the bank about this as the person could have wrote my card details down or anything or am I being a bit too cautious.

Jesus, If I lost my wallet I honestly wouldn't give the slightest toss about losing a tenner. It's the cards that I'd be pooping myself about.

Oh and as for recommending that we don't carry wallets - not all of us are forgetful morons. :p

i've nearly lost a few things before, sometimes i actually did lose them would you believe
