im aware its set in ww2 but looking at the trailer is it set in japan/china , or is it going to be played in all different countries , hence the name world at war?

I'd like another Modern Warfare one first I think. They're the only company to continually go interesting WW2 games, so Why not do another interesting Modern Warfare one? Especially as story wise, it's as good if not better than any other SP Modern Warfare game around in terms of character development.

But a Sci-Fi game would be excellent, it could also remove a lot of political barriers and let them use their imaginations to create something.

Imagine CoD4 multiplayer with futuristic weaponry and scenery, I think I'd really enjoy that and it would give the CoD team some freedom to express themselves rather than be tied to real locations, story and weapons.

I reckon a CoD 4 prequel type game would have been better, one with special forces type missions in the run up to the conflict in CoD 4. WW2 and all it's war stories are just blah blah blah now.

Edit: BTW CoD:WaW will be on PS2 and Wii as well.

cod4 after cod2 is my fav game of all time. IMO going back might not be a bad thing. it keeps it fresh, jsut i dont think the MP will be as good.

The guy in the Gile (spelling? the camo gear as used in CoD4), yeah I thought that looked awesome too. So far I think it looks on par with CoD4, so fingers crossed.

I really liked COD 4, it was mainly because of the modern time it was set in. I used to like the WW2 FPS games when they first started to appear. But there has been so many its just getting boring for me now.
