they don't look any better then pes 2008 lol. konami not interested in investing in pes. ea will make fifa 2009 even better then 08 so i know my purchase already

I do like the look of FIFA but i just prefer the gameplay and feel of PES, The last one wasnt brilliant but i just hope they can sort it out for 09.

PES2008 was the biggest dissapointment of last year, hopefully Konami create something spectacular to make up for it this time

Oh dear graphics are still poop hardly any improvement over 08 Seabass smoking crack again for another year

But ye its comes down to gameplay and i really cant see a big improvement happening in this department. I really lost all hope in Konami way they treated fan base is disgusting PES08 was joke and game has been for many years now.

Cant see it touching Fifa for yet another year but it will be nice to be surprised.

Isnt 2009 meant to be a total revamp according to Seabass, like totally new engine and that? It certainly needs it, Im looking forward more to FIFA09 than PES09 this time round.

Well if its a total revamp it certainly does not look it from screens in fact gameplay screen hardly looks any different.

But truth will come when we see gameplay videos but i think its going to be more lazy work from Konami.

PES2009 needs a whole trick system, looking and playing Fifa 08 it made such a massive difference and best of all, it was intuitive, it makes PES look like it's from the Dark Ages with its prehistoric trick selection and methods of using them.

I would be interested to see the budget for MGS and PES myself Seabass already made it known he not very happy with how thing work.

PES has become stale because it has not evolved properly its still same old engine but with new graphics it dated now.

Does FIFA have any kind of analogue movement these days? It winds me up that PES still seems to be programmed for a d-pad in this age of analogue joysticks. Only 8 directions of movement and passing, and changes of speed still limited to a button press.

Yes, Fifa is fully analogue, in fact the D-Pad is only used for on the fly tactic changes.

The left stick is movement, the right analogue stick is for tricks.

Aye, I guessed they did that much, I was more asking about the movement directions. Although I would like to see a game that actually used how far you pushed the analogue stick as how much speed to give the player.
