My fault, miss read XD To be fair many abusable drugs are naturallly found in the body. Such as THC and serotonin

Serotonin isn't abusable :p

That's like saying dopamine is.

They all need a trigger to get the yumminess out of them ;)

Surely there's already a drug that does this? Cocaine?

There's a difference between being confident and over confident. :)

Iisn't Oxycotin an addictive opiate??

Have fun with those withdrawl symptoms

Yes. Oxycotin is from what I know, Oxycodiene with continuous release and not instant, this wont work in this case as it'll make you tired and drowsy, maybe even 'on the nod'. The OP isn't mentioning this though. Althought they sound the same they are both completely different.

MDMA and amphetamines would probably would as they induce chat-mode. I believe MDMA releases Oxytocin anyway.

If this is a whole new drug that's going to be bought to the public, it's only going to get abused. I can see this ending up on the controlled list with all the other drugs kids have o/ded on or thought they could fly which gives the goverment excuses for banning them.

I know this stuff will make you trust people a lot more, so social paranomia, yes but too much could allow the female to end up with the other side of the bed occupied.

They sell them in Nasal Sprays but I don't know much on it's legitimacy. I'd probably try it if it became cheap enough and easier to get.

Better buying some whey and spending a day at the gym and having a cold shower after, you'll be attracting more chicks than a hen not to mention how much natural testosterone you'll have pumping through you. :)

It could have other commercial benefits. For instance, it could be sprayed in restaurants to put diners at ease..

I don't like the idea of that.

The drug makes you more generous apparently... huge tips anyone?

Hopefully this can be used to treat social anxiety disorder. Whoever said it was a waste of time is clearly ignorant.

Most of the time I suffer from this, sometimes if I get really drunk I get up the courage to go to chat to girls... most of the time if I get drunk I just get really depressed and frustrated. Drugs that can ease that could be really useful!

And I can see how lots of normal blokes wouldn't want something like this on the market (too much competition?) but tough, we let you have viagra ^^

EDIT : Rule number one of Gilmartin's definition doesn't apply to me :p thank god...

Better looking up syptoms for A.D.H.D.

I'm wondering if we'll start to see the opposite of date rape drug... a drug you add to other blokes' drink to reduce their confidence :D

Indeed it may have it's benefits, however I would be concerned if a large amount of people were "diagnosed" with shyness and end up on medication, which might have perceivable short term benefits but would largely be a way to avoid the problem temporarily.

I'm not sure whether I think this is a good thing or not, as I've always been pretty shy myself and admittedly did used to drink in social situations to try and combat it, but that was because I lacked self confidence and worried too much what other people thought about me. Also the whole idea of diagnosing everything seems to be more and more popular, some things just need to be worked through rather than taking a drug as a temporary solution. I know there's a fair amount of people here who have said they are shy or lacking in confidence from the thread a while ago regarding the book "Instant Confidence" so wondered what everyone else's thoughts on this are?

Hopefully this isn't a repost as I have done a few searched.

There was me thinking that this is what cocaine is for.

tbh would be interested in this. i avoid people most of the time if at all possible. lets just say i have some eccentricities...
