Is this definitely a Sky cable?

Hi,

Sorry for the lame question but just want to make sure as our new landlord thinks there's no Sky in my new flat (decorating now, moving in on Saturday). Looking at the roof at the other end of the apartment of 5 i see a digi dish and the living room has the wire below.
We're not in a VM area so could this be anything else?
Thanks

Ah ok. That makes sense, prob a normal tv cable then. I was asking because i've already ordered sky before getting the final go-ahead from the management of the whole block. Our landlord is fine with it though.

I bet its a sat cable, how often do people terminate aerials with an F-connector? Ive certainly never seen it done in a domestic environment

Whenever I do commercial installs I always use f connectors to terminate but then also fit a belling-lee adaptor. Usually in the flats though I would fit wall plates instead.

Same with the engineers at my place of work, F connectors get used and then converted because it's a better fixing on the cable.

The only way to know for sure is to plug in a Sky box though.

Thanks everyone.
Well the 3 bedrooms all have their own RF cable connections. The above cable is just in the living room.
I've put back the sky install date to wait for full permission anyway
