Whats the easiest way to get a dent out of a door?

Some little **** decided to kick my mrs' polo door last night (can even see the footprint) so i need to pull it out.

Can i get one of those sucker things from halfrauds or is it best to leave it to the pro's?

It all depends on how bad the dent is and if it has creased the bodywork or if its just 'popped' it.
If its not creased and is just pressed in then a sucker might work, but removing the interior panel and pressing it out from the inside would probably be your best bet. I'd definetly try it myself before taking it to a body shop.

I have this car dent remover coming along... if it works for me I will let you know...

If its a big dent then try and press it out from behind the door panel like dale said..

The other option is to buy a door from that auction website and spray it to match.. You can get some quality gear on there for cars.. but you can also get crap so watch out...

^^that requires a lot of work thought^^

And btw Halfrauds does dent removal for about £69

thats just about all the options ive been thinking of for dent and dink removal on my car

blow it with a hairdryer for a few minutes

spray it with c02 air duster and it should pop out

Wasn't there a vid on how to do this? Seem to remember seeing it a few years ago and being amazed.

EDIT: There are a couple on youtube but it's very difficult in most of the vids to see before and after results.

There was a thread the other day wasnt there about using Dry Ice to pop out the crease?

Besides that i would have gone with the suggestion above about taking off the inside panel and trying to pop it out.

Wow thats pretty cool to look at, he's getting cussed in the comments though, is this BS?

The dent is about a size 9 and indented probably around an inch averaged the whole way across, i reckon i could just push it out as the paint hasnt cracked and i dont think the actualy door has creased.

The method should work if its a dent not a crease, would i try it? no dont want to risk damage to my paint work.

Forget about the car. You should be busy trying to find the ***** lout who did this and punching him in the face with a can of spaghettio's.

You could try what my mate did when his Civic Type R door had a big dent in it. Give the door a good few slams until it pops out. You can still see there was a dent there though when u look down the paintwork.

Ive had my car vandalized recently as well, not as bad as yours though. Some **** bent my wing mirror back and did the same on an 08 plate Astra parked next to mine. Luckily the cover popped off and my neighbor brought it round to my house. It just clipped back on and the glass was fine, the Astra didn't fare so well though. Its the third time its happened now so I'm going to set up a camera and get my own back on whoever's doing it.
