ok, had a little play with it now so here's my thoughts.
Positives:
its well made and sturdy.
very little lateral movement
extremely adjustable - you should be able to get comfy with any seat
with the g25 the gearstick position is actually very natural and you can put it on the left or right
Negatives:
the instructions are pretty poor
the way the gearstick clamps down with hard plastic extensions isn't great and no matter how hard you tighten it there's still movement, although its not noticeable in normal play
Similarly the bracket for the g25 is just a smooth bit of metal that sits between the wheel base and the main unitgain, fine on gaming but if you try and fold the unit and pick it up by the wheel it comes away from the base.
There's a fair amount of vertical movement on the wheel, no matter how much you tighten the bolt. Not a huge issue by could be improved.
It would have been nice to have had a bit of thought put into cable tidying
The pedals for the g25 fit perfectly and don't need securing, but the 360 ones were sliding all over the place. A small clamp would sort it out.
Overall despite the negatives mentioned its a good bit if kit. I think I'll mod it a bit to make it perfect. A more secure gearstick and wheel clamp and a bit of trucking for the cables should be fine
so overall I'm pleased with it. Its not cheap but if you want something portable and east to store its probably the best solution out there, especially for the g25
