Any tips to cure my Laziness?

Well after writing my last post i thought why the hell am i sitting here complaining lol.

So i turned off my PC, and ive just washed a few dishes, cleaned the kitchen windows, benchtops, sills etc.

And stuck a load of washing in the machine.

Ill have a little browse for 20 mins.. then ill turn it off again and tidy this room :D

I find that setting aside a reward for myself helps. Like if the house needs doing, I can have a warm bath and some cold beers and order a curry but only once it's done.

Helps me a lot :)

Turn your PC and TV etc off,

Cleaning is infectious, once you start you get into the flow it's just starting thats hard if you think about it....So don't think, just take a few deep breaths get pumped up and start and see where it takes you.

Attack the cleaning! Raaaaa!

I tend to find writing a list helps, it gets things more organised plus there's a nice sense of satisfaction when you can cross or delete an item off the list.
Other than that, willpower really :/

haha, I'm the same - I find crossing things off a list incredibly motivating.....to the point that if I forget a task and then just do it I'll add it to the list and then cross it out :D

Backpack is good for keeping a to-do list if you dont want to use paper.

This is also my way. Though sometimes i'm too lazy to write the list

Remove all distractions (PC/games consoles/whatever you normally kill time with)
Put some good music on
Get working

Worked for me during study leave, don't see why it can't work for other things.

Remove distractions. Don't turn your pc on and just waste time online, either go outside and do something or tidy up inside if needed. Hardest part is starting, you will plow on once you make the first step.

Regular exercise helps too, join a gym, go running or do some sports (or even go for long walks, if you have no job you have F all else to do)

Theres nothing wrong with laziness! we were born to be lazy and its the future!......after all we didnt ask to enter this weird world......not that im lazy of course, Im just saying like.

Well ive made some concious efforts. Went on a bit of a job hunting mission and secured an interview for Friday morning, so that should help me out...

took a walk down to the shops to get some essentials.

And washed all the dishes ive used as soon as ive ate off them.

Going to sort this room out in a minute once ive ate some more scran :D

Start exercise program. This will give you energy to do everything you want and to stop wasting time procrastinating. You just have to think about how long you spend putting things off and then realise you could do the job and then relax nicely in your clean space and enjoy your evening, rather than keep looking at the mess around you and thinking that someone should do something about this.
