radeon 4850 on PCI xpress 1.0 ?

Hi,

My current motherboard is an intel 975x bx, and am enquireing if the x4850 card will work in my pci express socket, and if it does whether or not im going to me severely hampering its performance.

Not sure if the slots are pci express 1a 1.1 or 1.0

A lot of people have been saying they absolutely will not work on 1.0a, but I haven't seen any hard evidence so far (8800 GT's on VIA chipsets aside).

running 4850 on a 925X B1, used to have an X800, if that helps.

Mine works liek normal on an asus p5b, not sure what pci version that is, if you can find out then it might help yuou
