"Over the on the 4Chan boards a user has put up an image of what appears to be the Xbox 360's version of "Home", also incorporating the Avatars that were rumored earlier this month."

We might as well just have one console if all anyone keeps doing is nicking ideas of each other!

same here, am not even vaguelly interested in Home for the PS3 and this looks the same...

why would people faff about in a virtual environment like these when you could be playing real top class games...

the way i see it you can wander around in your cartoon world and be all nicey nicey with people and invite them into your virtual house to admire the decor and talk crap, or you can meet them in an abandoned russian village in COD4 and shoot them in the face :D

i reckon the only people who'd like this stuff is chicks...
 
Maybe it's a way to attract kids who use habbo hotel and convincing their parents into buying a console for them.

well, my preference is taking the butt of my battlerifle to my opponents face on Valhalla, but it's much the same :D

and yeah, this has got to be for women, what self respecting male would chose to socialise in that manner :confused::rolleyes:
 
Surely the whole Mii/Gamer Pad/Sims/Home dollhouse idea is aimed at children. It's those that have been trying to argue that Home is somehow different and 'bad-ass macho' that confuse me.

Home is a lot more sophisticated with the media sharing abilities etc and Home is definitely not aimed at kids.
 
TBH without knowing if its real or not, we cant compare it to home,second life, habbo hotel etc, as we do not know anything about it. Its going for the mii look rather than the more realistic home, it looks more like the hot shots golf game lobby than home. Either way true or not E3 is going to be an interesting one!
 
It looks like the Sims and that is probably why they are doing it. Sims purchases = $$$ £££
 
Oh god, can someone give me the lowdown on this? Because right now I see a kiddie chat room with stupid avatar things.
 
Environment reminds me of Skate, that looks good.
The character and floating menu.... not so much.

What I did say last night to msmalls was to not criticize it from one singly blurry screenshot that doesn't show much.
