Gibson les paul worn cherry anyone got one?

well I have wanted a Les Paul for some time like 20 years or so :eek: and was thinking of getting a studio this weekend in worn cherry as it is an amazing price at the moment of £549 should be around £799 this price is only in the worn cherry and I really like the wine red but what a saving!

so anyone got one if so what do you think of it ?

I have a Gibson heritage cherry classic antique les paul and a honey burst faded standard lp.

You wouldnt be disappointed if you bought it, studios are great guitars, regardless of colour.

Saying that, youd be much better of picking up a standard faded, they are amazing guitars, might be worth saving up a bit longer.

Thanks for that and nice looking les pauls you have ;) what amp do you use with them as I am also going to get new amp and I am looking for ideas.

I think I am going for the worn cherry cant pass on that price!
 
I USED to have one for about 6 years, until I sold it to get my Nightswan. I have since bought another one (black one, not cherry like my other one) cheap in my local music shop's closing down sale, since I realised how much I liked it only after it went.

Except mine now has a Floyd Rose tremolo system fitted as I thought the standard one detuned too quickly for my liking. Plus, I do use the whammy bar white a lot with high bends, so I thought it was a decent upgrade. I'm using it with a recently purchased Line 6 Spider III amp (great amp, but the next one up, the valve, is better IMO) at the moment, no effects pedals, and it sounds great, especially for the Genesis solos that I like to do.

Go for it, you won't regret it. ;)

At the mo im using a Fender Super champ XD, I love it, and it does for me, cos im only playing in my house these days. :p

Somebody has asked if anybody else has got one, I've posted a pic because I'm not sure if it is one.
You really are a sad individual who's got nothing better to do than troll me.
I always used to think you were one of the better members on here but this last few months you've become a right ass.
Perhaps you ought to get your own life instead of being jealous of mine.

And what makes me laugh is that I've also seen Jimbo's and Nitefly's guitars (as well as loads of others on here) numerous times but you don't call them.

hehe. The reason I don't pick on Nitefly is because he doesn't rise to it. He doesn't even respond because he knows I'm only messing. You, on the other hand, get your panties in a wad every time and it honestly never gets old.

Also, right now, my girlfriend's asleep on the sofa, I've got Hannibal on and there really is nothing better to do than annoy you, so yeah. If growing up means stopping doing things that entertain me, then I hope I never do. What in dmpoole's eyes would be something useful? what do you do that's so useful and so different? I'm dying to know

once again a thread turns in to a typical ocuk thread....nice guitar by the way...i have a gibson es335 with dirty finger pickups lovely :), always fancied a les paul tho and thats a pretty good price
