Why?
I have a core 2 duo machine, with 4 gig of fast memory and a 8800gt card. Why should i choose one over the other?

The home basic versions of 64bit and 32bit are the same price.
Should i pay the extra and go for premium?

My computer usage consists of gaming mostly.

1) What's the point in running 64bit hardware in a 32bit OS (you are not getting the most out of it) esp as you will see only 3GB-3.5GB of your memory.

2) Its 2008 not 1998. ;)

Just gone to Vista 64 myself (I have XP32 as well just incase :))

Driver support on the 64bit seems just as good as 32bit. It's quite nice. Not noticed a significant performance increase over XP32 but then I am still tweaking and testing.

When i install XP i just install and patch, everything works as expected.
Will i have to spend time tweaking vista to get everything running?
