Works fine here, I remember reading about this yesterday. Seems pretty good if you need some off site storage.

Never seen the point of this stuff if you're on ADSL... gonna take ages to upload 30GB!

Cheers for the link, I have around 6GB of photos and stuff I'd like an additional way to back up. The BT Vault only has 2GB..

Edit - why do 25GB of the 30GB have to be media files? That just doesn't smell kosher..

exactly.

by my calculations, you can upload 162mb an hour assuming a consistent speed of 45kb/s.

Why not just use your own HDD space as it is cheap now adays and set up your PC or server so you can access the media files away from home? Much better IMO.

One advantange is that if you house gets broken into and they nick your PC you still have your files/pics online.

Saying this I backup my stuff to an external HD and then keep this at work.
