Hello there.

I'm hoping you can help me diagnose a problem I'm having.

I've got a Canon A570 IS.

Last May, I took it to Duxford, only to be greeted by lots of lines and dots in the top left of every picture taken of an Aircraft in the sky, it doesn't happen with pictures otherwise, just when it's taking a picture of something in the Sky.

However, it does show up on videos no matter what you're shooting, indoors, outdoors, at the sky, every video has the same lines and dots on it.

I thought this was a dirty lens, so I cleaned it with some soft cotton, and it looked as clean as could be.

Only to find after I get back from Silverstone F1 testing, all the videos still have the same marks.

I've uploaded a video as you can see it best in that.

I'm not sure what to do, as I've cleaned the lens, and it makes absolutely no difference, it's still exactly the same.

looks like its dirty on the inside

have you had it anywhere damp?

Nope, it's always in it's case in my room, and it hasn't been used when anywhere where it's been wet or raining.

I think you're right about it being inside though, it doesn't change one bit when I've cleaned the lens.
