I've seen other photos and there are LOADS of people on the sides of the runway taking pictures. Apparently they took 2-3 veyrons that day just incase one of them broke down/got canned.

The plane is pretty dam heavy, so will take a while to get moving. However, once its got momentum, nothing will get close.

Nope, pretty much all planes are like this, they just need a couple of seconds to get moving.
