I''m going to be a dad.

LOL, Was about to say that.

Hrmmm, Seems my girl is starting to lean towards a baby, I seem to freeze up when she even hints.

I know that feeling, my wife is talking about another ... our daughter is 2 1/2 and we are just beginning to feel we are getting our lives back

Congratulations, all the best to you and yours. I'm looking forward to even more sarcastic posts when the social life takes the inevitable hit and you are here for even more evenings. ;)

I've got 3 of the little monkeys! Eldest is 12, youngest is 5, middle is 9.

Its hard work, tiring, expensive, etc but............worth it! They're great! I wouldn't change it for one second.

Congratulations, but be afraid....very afraid! Life as you know it is almost gone forever!

There is nothing like the overpowering protective instinct and love you'll develop for this little bag of skin, bone and drool!

Ace.

So clearly the first thing one should do when discovering that your life is going to change so massively is go ...

The Queen Mother's Maternity Hospital in Glasgow last week confirmed that Mrs Mags and I are 12 weeks and 4 days pregnant with our first child.

Not even sure why I'm posting this, really. Actually, I do. I saw some baby clothing in a shop on Byres Road this morning and it read, "I got 99 problems but a bib ain't one ... feed me!" Made me lol.

Anyway, almost a dad. Crikey :)

Congrats.....

It's a great feeling I can remember getting the news like it was yesterday.

congrats, my daughters just turned 8 months and ill be honest with ya, its boring till they get to about 5 months - they just cry sleep and poop, when there past that age you can have so much more fun.

Wait until they are 3 and start whacking you on the shins or family jewels with a sword granny bought :p
