I don't find that GTX280 score impressive at all tbh, my 2 year old 8800GTX manages about 21fps average!

Yes thinking that myself. Strife?, what frames do you get in the 1280x1024 test?, since single 9800X2 (dual GPU) cards seem to do very well in Crysis. Also what about min/max frames?

and those review sites day 4870 don't overclock, i hope to how high a real overclocker can get their 4870

yup. once my p5q and q6600 i'm going to try for 1ghz on the gpu and should take the crown in single gpu results 34-35 fps would be nice.

Also he has watercooling so that adds the cost to the card, and it doesn't look like he is using 24/7 settings. still very nice score. I wonder if he can get 14700 single gpu with 3Dmark Vantage.
