Hi

Ive been out of the console world for many years, hung up my Fanboy hat and jumped into the world of PCs. Well, im back, bought a 360 and wanna know whats good out their. Back in the day me and some mates played lots of games nobody really knew about. Rally Sport Challenge (1&2), Jet Set Radio (Thats 'Set', not 'Grind' for all your American 'easier version' people), Half Life on the Dreamcast (yes it existed), Half Life Decay on the PS2, Rez, some random game on the Gamecube that tried to freak you out by pretending to play with the TV contrast or volume, Ikaruga and Psyvariar on the DC, Ico, and XIII come to mind.

What is their on the 360 that kinda fell under the radar of the mainstream market? Games that were really good, but didnt make it big? Im after something unusual and fun. Any suggestions?

Crackdown.

Seriously, probably the best game I've played - especially in online co-op mode. Had me laughing like a drugged idiot.

I only wish the crackdown had offline co-op and online co-op for more players. I can only imagine the fun of running around with a group of mates throwing cars at each other, maybe in crackdown 2 if it ever happens.

Chromehounds.

An online Mechwarrior 2 with 3 countries battling out in a persistent world war.
Clan based, battles with either people or bots, fully customisable mechs, monetary rewards, a huge variety of maps.

An absolute gem for those that put the effort in and as you had to the crowd (at least when I played every day) was mature.
There is a single player campaign but it's quite dull and is really only there to teach people how to play.

kameo - i felt this disappeared under a landslide of titles that followed quickly from the release ones. picked it up for £5 about a month ago and have played it on and off since, think it's a really nice game with a few challenges, i've certainly played it more then GTA (or at least, it feels like i have ^^).

is there still much of a following for chrome hounds? was considering picking it up on the cheap, but knowing it's mostly a multiplayer game i didn't want to get it if no one plays ^^

definitely second Kameo and Flatout UC, Flatout is superb and would have been a 9/10 title if it had only had split screen gaming, still a great game though. Kameo is also excellent, I missed it at release but picked it up a few months later and enjoyed it all the way through.
