All New Summer 2008 Transfer Merry Go Round/Rumour Mill

Just your average paper talk rubbish. Quotes out of context etc.

Quotes are quotes at the end of the day, make of them what you will and ignore the rubbish written around them. It´s fast becoming like the Ronaldo situation, from what i´ve read though (especially the quotes in todays NOTW) Adebeyor has been a lot more vocal in his wishes.

Adebeyor seems to be purely interested in the money side of things, at least Ronaldo tries to disguise that side by talking about it being his dream and what not :p

I remember you constantly playing down everything regarding Henry this time last year only for him to sod off ;)

As for Ronaldo, things have gone predictably quiet since he´s left the Portugal camp. No doubt he´ll get back to training and all will be well again just like two years ago. I´ll be happy for the team if he stays but I won´t hold him in such high regard individually.

Will this man ever shut up? Where are the British representatives in Uefa and Fifa? Every interview, these muppets reflect on their feelings (jealousy) about the Premiership with their tinted glasses.

It's not just the anti English bias people like him and that Gaillard twit come out with it's the way they stick their noses in affairs which have nothing to do with them that really annoy me.
Man.U. obviously have a problem with RM tapping up CR and even though the case wasn't uphelp a proper diplomat, which Platini should be, wouldn't dream of making those sort of comments, ****.

I'd be happy if he goes to allow us to bring in some new faces, maybe change our attacking ethos and placing Rooney in the limelight, rather than having our best overall player doing all the hard work for Ronaldo to get the praise. .

Honestly do you really think Rooney has been your best overall player? Two season now he's been slated as being below par. Myself I think the way he's performed is the best your going to get out of him. I don't see him stepping up from where he's at. I don't think he will get any better.

In fact I don't see him lasting as a Manu player for more than another season or so. Replace either him or rooney with a top class goal scorer like you had with RVN and I see no need to keep rooney as a forward.

I didnt like seeing him in the paper with a ciggie on the go either. I doubt Sir Alex did either.

Adebayor has one half decent season and he thinks he's worthy of Henry's wages? He's having a laugh! We should take the£30mil offer and run, I doubt he'll get near 30 goals this season, wouldn't mind seeing a swap for Eto! :D

Yet his quotes on Friday said he wasn't interested in Money? NOTW is as reliable as Marca/Sport etc.

The season before maybe, not last season ;)

He doesnt play, we dont win.
Losing Rooney would be like loosing 3 or 4 other first teamers put toghether.

As usual the poachers come for someone who's done half decent for County, although it would be quite a profit on the £2000 they paid Woodley Sports for him. :p

Now I couldn't turn that crazy money away if I was Arsenals board or Wenger. I'd hand deliver him myself for 30m.

I'm slowly getting excited about the new season.... ohh dear! How many false dawns at WHL?? Robbo was definately a weak link for us last year, glad that's been sorted. Is Gomes the answer? I don't know but I'm sure we'll have fun finding out! :D

I'm feeling very optimistic about the forthcoming season. More so than I've felt for a long time. I guess starting the season with no management worries and we've made some good signings before the start of pre-season training. Hopefully, the squad will be fitter from the offset.

I've just realised Martins would be great for chelsea buy buy buy! He is as good if not better than adebayor yet half the price...Like a 4850.

However isn't he one of those people whose age is kind of ..well..unknown lol?

Hell if he's fit I suppose it'd be nice to have another striker. I'm surprised nothing happened to RvP in Austria/Switzerland..
