Best thing you've ever won

i won a medal for doing the most kick ups when i was in year 4 at skool. don't know how old i was then though.

nothing won for free though.
 
In 6th form we had a sweepstake for two weeks where we had to guess the lottery bonus ball, I won both weeks :D lol.
 
Yesterday I went to the kids school fete. I love it every year as I win lovely tinned food :)

The other month I won a Wii darts game as a runner prize but I dont actually have a Wii.

I am now addicted to entering online competions though.
 
I didn't receive the £5 gift voucher from Acorn User which I should have got because the mag went belly up. I'd written a little piece of code for the Electron that played Moonlight Sonata having heard it on Jet Set Willy.

Those ******* still owe me that voucher :(
 
I won a sombrero once as a runner up prize in a competition to win a Gameboy with the "Speedy Gonzalez" game (this is a looooooooooooooooong time ago), that's about it!
 
A kids guide to spying book. I got it for shifting all my school raffle tickets when I went home for dinner. It was a pretty good book, hints and tips on how to record peoples conversations without them knowing etc.

back on topic: i've never won anything through luck / prize draws / raffles, but have won money from poker tourneys (maybe that is luck actually) + trophies from football tourneys, etc.

Like it :) - always wondered who came first, I think I did actually look for the first place card once...

I did come third on a video game quiz show that was done for Gamer.TV, I was cruelly robbed by some dodgy questions in the third round. I did get a load of gaming loot though - including an inflatable boxing glove from some random PS boxing game :)
 
at a birthday party in the late 80s i won a Roland Rat activity set, drawing paper, colouring books, pencils, crayons and a pencil case

given how excited i was to win it, compared to how excited i've been in my life since, i think i reached my peak at the age of 7 :)
 
I won the chicken from the pub quiz a few times :D

Well best thing i've ever won £300 in bets on me in a drinking competition against my mate jake. I woke up the next morning thinking I was going to die and forced myself down to the cafe to spend some of my winnings on a massive fry up.

Good times.
 
i won 4 pints in a caption competition at a comedy night. The picture was this image:

In my younger years, I won an NES with a copy of the turtles game, from the turtles mag. That was ao ace.

Other than that, no big wins. I tend not to win to much at any thing :p
 
Last thing that I won, was probably a copy of "Classic FM at the movies", for some late night radio show thing.. Didn't even know I'd won until a few weeks later when the damn thing arrived.
